Each 1196 Satellite Speaker attached is detected by the 8196 IP Speaker automatically and can be monitored for connectivity. Algo 8189 SIP Surface Mount Speaker is identical to the 8188 SIP Ceiling Speaker, however, it is for indoor surface mount ceiling or wall applications required for voice paging, emergency alerting and playing music. The speaker is a fully compliant 3rd party SIP endpoint. As a result, this IP speaker is compatible with most hosted / cloud and premise-based VoIP telephone systems.
The 8189 SIP Surface Mount Speaker is UL/CSA, FCC and CE certified. The speaker is a self-amplified PoE device.
