SIP Intercoms are a generation ahead of standard IP Intercoms, i.e. they have the ability to integrate with IP Telephone systems to offer users the extra functionality of receiving intercom calls on Phones.

SIP Intercoms can also work as standalone systems, however connecting with phone system enables them to call multiple devices and offer greater functionality without distance limitations.
